The first one which doesn't require any special moving/syncing etc. at
release time has something very sexy about it. Not only will admins
not have to worry in any way about getting timely releases, but the
release process will be cut by almost a week.
The worries about static vs dynamically changing content under
/releases/ can be easily managed with rsync's exclude/include
switches.
