[ale] OT: Business ISP/ Uverse with VPN router?

Use CARP or VRRP to allow that address to float between cooperating routers and use either a linux or BSD based implementation to handle it.

At least that is what I would do. You need to have them suitably configured so that when one falls over the other immediately (well, within a few seconds) starts picking up the traffic and running with it without any reconfiguration. 

I know nothing about sonic walls except how to get rid of them. ;)
