I have a RPi running XBMC (openelec), the only issue I have an haven't
found a way to fix it, anything that uses player.swf . For a remote, I am
using a wireless mouse, and my 8 year can move around very well. I also
got the wireless that Richard B recommend. I know that Microcenter sells a
Pi that already XBMC, it comes with a remote.
The Chromecast works with your existing remote, can be power off your tv,
and you can stream from your laptop to the chrome cast via chrome. For the
money, I go with it.
