[ale] ISP for windows connections

I've got a connection set up that is currently being accessed by a
windows 98 box and a linux box. At the point where you say the line
gets dropped is where I get entries for mgetty in my log file. I'm
looking at the mgetty.log.ttyS1 file under /var/log. Are you using
dhcp, chap, or pap for these connects?

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
