What should I put into my root directory in order to run a particular
executable after XFree is started in my out-of-the-box RH6.0/Gnome setup?

Alternatively, what should I put in '~/.xsession' besides invoking my
executable, so that Gnome will set itself up properly. (I am just running
'xv' to set the root window "wallpaper.") I tried running only my script,
and also tried running it after '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xsession', but
neither seemed to work right.
