Senior Systems Network Architect - Duluth, GA

Reporting to the Director of Advanced Gaming Operations, the Sr Systems Architect will have experience designing & implementing mid-sized to large Microsoft/Cisco Enterprises, Cloud Solutions & large network infrastructures. 

Should also have expert level understanding of hardware, software, network configuration, security & be able to work independently.  Acts as team lead for  Advanced Gaming Operations department as well as bring new, exciting and innovative ideas to the table.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES 
The duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:
. Developing architectural strategy, including technology standardization and modernization of enterprise, data center and disaster recovery network infrastructures.
. Writing strategic roadmaps for network and network security technologies, and solution architectures for various infrastructure initiatives.
. Recommend and design QoS policies, load balancing, server tuning, monitoring and performance metrics for internet gaming and database replication services.
. Ensuring that architecture principles and technology standards are consistently applied and updated as appropriate. 
. Partners with customers, vendors, and technology groups to understand network requirements, and create optimal solutions. 
. Researches, tests, and evaluates new technologies, and evaluates their potential impact to Cadillac Jacks gaming network.
. Working closely with software system developers in designing solutions that are scalable, redundant, and lowers the total cost of ownership.
. Testing new Cadillac Jack software and gathering performance and security data and providing feedback to software development on improvements or security risks.
. Lead Advanced Gaming Operations Engineers and innovate new creative solutions.    
Available nights and weekends as needed for 3rd tier support for new or current deployments. 
Skills / Requirements :
.  Prior experience architecting and engineering a complex, global, enterprise network consisting of over 300 locations.
. Strong Experience with VMWare 5.x, Windows Server 2003/2008, MS SQL server 2005 or above,  Cisco Routers/Switches, Enterprise Class Server Hardware, and Load Balancing appliances.
