client in the Credit Card Processing industry in their Columbus, GA 
location. This is a contract to hire position.*

implement an always-on platform which provides continuous and stable 
deployments at all levels of the system including applications, 
operating systems, and environment specific configurations. Perhaps that

continuously improve their understanding of the applications, platforms, 
and systems involved in each project. This role will be responsible for 
projects that are important to the business, technically challenging, 
and highly visible.

  * *Technologies you should know or be in a position to learn quickly:
    python, puppet, git, foreman, bamboo, fabric, RHEL, apache*
  * Design and develop automated deployment mechanisms that reduce the
    risk of human error.
  * Provide deep and detailed levels of monitoring across all levels of
    the application.
  * This monitoring should not only signal a problem, but identify its
    source to those who can resolve it.
  * Create rollback mechanisms/architectures that enable repair and
    cleanup of faulty migrations.
  * Assist with creating test environments that accurately mimic
    production in terms of data and capability.
  * Identify opportunities to deliver self service capability for the
    most common infrastructure and application management tasks.
  * Assist with creation of automated tests at all levels of the
    application and infrastructure to provide visibility of broken logic
    as new changes are introduced.
  * Develop knowledge and understanding of the company’s Loyalty &
    Prepaid platforms, applications, and connectivity.
  * Light travel to develop face-to-face relationships with the
    company’s team members in Columbus, GA.

*Education/Experience:*

  * Four year college degree and four or more year’s professional
    experience or high school diploma or equivalent with six or more
    years professional experience is required.
  * Degree in technical field (Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics,
    Sciences) preferred.
  * Experience in technical field preferred (including co-ops and
    internships), such as software development, web site development,
    systems support or administration.
