Job Description/Required Skills (paste details below):

System Administrator will be part of a global help desk providing 24x7 application and UNIX support
Candidate will be responsible for monitoring systems, responding to alarm events, performing problem determination and restoring service using standard operating procedures.  This position supports servers that are either customer facing, or are used by customer facing support organizations.  The system administrator will interface with international support organizations.
PLEASE NOTE: ROTATIONAL SHIFT SCHEDULE may be required for this position
Required Qualifications -
*             Working Knowledge of Linux, VMWare and VSphere UNIX-Solaris, HPUX, Windows Server
*             Good Understanding of complex network infrastructure
*             Understanding of Change Management Life Cycle Principles
*             System Support and Trouble Analysis skills (root cause analysis, alarm management platforms, troubleshooting, etc)
*             Experience supporting enterprise customers
*             Ability to prioritize issues work incidents concurrently
*             Strong organizational skills
*             Strong oral and written communication skills.
*             Ability to become security cleared in the United States

Desired Qualifications -
*             Network Management Tools Support (EMC SMARTS, Network Authority, CiscoSecure ACS(TACACS/RADIUS), INCM/Voyence
*             Server & System Administration skills
*             Knowledge of scripting languages Perl, KSH
*             Knowledge Network Protocols
*             Experience using technical documentation
*             Understanding of Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, MS SQL Server, DB2, LDAP
*             Understanding of Operational DBA and Application DBA support
