*About the Position: *

   - This is a technical member of the Sales team covering the South East
   region of the United States
   - Work with Account Manager to identify, qualify and close new sales
   - Develop technical responses to RFI/RFP
   - Recognize and interpret customer needs, and architect comprehensive
   solutions
   - Develop and conduct product presentations involving system architecture
   and design
   - System troubleshooting at the customer site, with a focus on excellent
   customer care
   - Travel throughout the region to perform technical sales, and position
   Penguin solutions vs. competitors
   - A “hands-on” person willing to construct HPC systems in the factory if
   needed
   - Compensation includes commission based on sales performance and
   attainment of team goals


*Requirements: *

   - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
   - Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux server environments
   - Strong knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) application
   development
   - In-depth knowledge of cluster technologies and optimization techniques
   - Minimum of three years technical sales experience, proven track record
   of closing deals with sales team
   - Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
   - Specific vertical experience and contacts are desirable
   - Ability to travel as needed up to 50% through the assigned region
