<b>About the Position:
</b><br><ul><li>
This is a technical member of the Sales team covering the South East region of the United States
</li><li>
Work with Account Manager to identify, qualify and close new sales
</li><li>
Develop technical responses to RFI/RFP
</li><li>
Recognize and interpret customer needs, and architect comprehensive solutions
</li><li>
Develop and conduct product presentations involving system architecture and design
</li><li>
System troubleshooting at the customer site, with a focus on excellent customer care
</li><li>
Travel throughout the region to perform technical sales, and position Penguin solutions vs. competitors
</li><li>
A “hands-on” person willing to construct HPC systems in the factory if needed
</li><li>
Compensation includes commission based on sales performance and attainment of team goals
</li></ul>
<br>
<b>Requirements:
</b><br><ul><li>
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
</li><li>
Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux server environments
</li><li>
Strong knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) application development
</li><li>
In-depth knowledge of cluster technologies and optimization techniques
</li><li>
Minimum of three years technical sales experience, proven track record of closing deals with sales team
</li><li>
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
</li><li>
Specific vertical experience and contacts are desirable
</li><li>
Ability to travel as needed up to 50% through the assigned region
</li></ul>
