AutoTrader.com, located in Perimeter Area, is currently hiring for a
full-time Unix Systems Administrator with large enterprise, high
availability experience.  This role is responsible for designing,
developing and implementing systems to support the technical
capabilities at AutoTrader.com. For success in this role, one must be
able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment.  This role
requires good communication skills, both with team members and business
contacts.  In addition, the successful Engineer must be able to work
with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects or tasks.

 

Minimum Qualifications 

*	Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
*	UNIX/Linux system administration with large server base (2,500+)
for a minimum of 3 years
*	5-7 years experience writing and maintaining UNIX shell scripts
*	1-3 years experience with security and network/distributed
computing concepts
*	Prior experience with 3 or more of the following:

	*	Solaris 9 or 10 management and provisioning in a
production environment
	*	RHEL 3 or 4 management and provisioning in a production
environment
	*	LDAP, NFS, DNS, SSH, Sendmail, Jumpstart, Kickstart,
Apache
	*	Solaris Disk Suite, Linux LVM
	*	Red Hat Satellite & Proxy Server
