Yes, that's what I did; I forgot about the CDN (and didn't look at the
URL closely).  Sorry.  However, it does show there's nothing wrong with
my mirror or immediate network connection.

I got 985 KBps.

I got 501 KBps.

I tried downloading from the mirror server by fetching:

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/12/Live/i686/Fedora-12-i686-Live.iso

When I tried HTTP, I was only getting about 100 KBps, but when I
switched to FTP, I got around 500 KBps (I didn't wait for either
download to complete though, especially since the HTTP looked like it
would take over an hour).
