[mirror-admin] F12 content coming your way soon

Fedora 12 is scheduled for public release in one week, on Tuesday Nov
17. I expect Jesse will start staging the content for mirrors this week
Thursday. The size should be similar to that of Fedora 11 which weighed
in at 143GB, but the packages are of course hardlinked against the
development/ tree, so most of the new download content will be ISOs.
Also, you've seen the updates/12 and updates/testing/12 trees posted, at
762MB and 958MB respectively already. This is the first time we've had
update packages posted ahead of release (T-minus-7-day updates? :-)

We should be in good shape, as we've got over 200 public F11 mirrors,
123 rawhide mirrors (88GB you don't have to download again), Tiering [1]
in place for several mirrors, and an Internet2/NLR-connected master
mirror ready to push out the bits. Please pull from a Tiered mirror if
at all possible.

Also, please watch for the bitflip next week Tuesday, 15:00 UTC, and be
prepared to manually bitflip slightly ahead of that. This way people
downloading immediately after the announcement won't be greeted by
"Forbidden" responses for the first few hours.

Thank you for your continued support of Fedora. We couldn't do it
without you!
