The CDs did change. I'm not sure how you got into the state you were,
but the comps file in the exploaded tree does /not/ have mkinitrd in the
core group. It doesn't have it anywhere, which should match the DVD.
It's the comps file on the first CD that doesn't have a representation
on the exploaded tree.

It wouldn't be a completely new DVD, just a very very minor change which
rsync would bring in relatively quickly, but time is too short for that
anyway.
