[mirror-admin] what about that archive cleanup?

It's been announced here that a cleanup of old stuff would be done in
the archive. Has it happened? If not now would be an excellent time
for it... It'd even help with report_mirror :-)

Is there a policy for which versions a complete fedora repository must
have? My opinion is that it should have the current and previous
releases, plus the development tree[s]. Older content should be in a
separate site, not necessarily mirrored by the official mirror
network.

Just had a look at the repository... I don't understand what most
directories are, and why some dirs (ex. development) appear in more
than one place. Is there a description somewhere?
