[ale] Godaddy Suxs!!!

Two years ago, I made the unfortunate mistake of letting my domain expire
by just three days. Due to a recent name change at Facebook, Godaddy took
advantage of the situation and demanded an exorbitant fee of $1700 to
reclaim the domain, solely because it contained the word "Meta."

After consistently checking for opportunities to regain control, I finally
managed to win a bid for the domain last week at a much more reasonable
price of $25.

I've been a long-time customer of Godaddy, but their recent decline in
quality has been disappointing. I'm considering switching to a different
domain registrar as soon as possible.

It seems that Godaddy's decline began around the time they stopped their
iconic Super Bowl ads. The company has become too corporate and less
customer-focused.
