If you are wanting to create a MX Linux Live USB, I would not use unetbootin. Instead, follow the instruction on this page:

Either create the drive with Rufus on Windows, Live USB Maker from a machine already running MX Linux, or run the Live USB Maker AppImage on any other Linux distro.
