[ale] boot partition and data partition on SD card(used to be MXLinux blah blah blah)

Friends:

I am getting ready to create a data partition on the Live USB

This is the process I intend to follow.

If the knowledgeable folks on this mailing list know of a simpler or
cleaner way to do it please share that info.
(JD suggested the ventoy tool but Wayne said that the boot can get erased
etc.,)
