[ale] Fixing systemd and pulseaudio: was UEFI vs BIOS understanding

Not rub salt in wounds but my Fedora laptop works just fine running audacity, systemd, and pulseaudio. I don't do much with audacity but I do test with after updates (usually just major os version upgrades).
