JackTrip clients can be Linux, Windows, or Mac. Having free clients
for all desktop flavors is attractive.
The JackTrip server can be any of the above also, but... seems like
linux be better.
No android client yet, but audio latency inside android has always been
a booger.
My understanding is that the clients send uncompressed audio, and the
Jacktrip server just routes it back out as uncompressed audio.
