I run Jessie on my firewall which is i586. It is really a RDC RISC that identifies as i586. :) 

as far as I know it wil lnot even run anything RISC even though it is a RISC. An odd beast, but eventually Debian will abandon that too. I believe they have already abandoned anything that is below i686 and this system has no CMOV, and a few other instructions.
