[ale] OT - Replacement Gate Remote

That was one of the first hits I got in my search but it requires:
1) You to know the maker of the opener.
2) You to hit a button on the motor of the opener for the "smart learn". (Or use dip switches based on maker.)

You can see details on how to program at this link:
https://www.chamberlain.com/CatalogResourcesV3/en-us/shared/files/tucmanuals/114A3485.pdf

I'm tempted to think the motor button would send the same signal as an existing remote but could never find anything that positively states that.

My question to the list was not asking for others to Google for me as I'd already done a fair amount of that 2 nights ago. I was asking if anyone has actually used one that they programmed by pointing an existing remote at it.

Every time you stop a school, you will have to build a jail. What you gain at one end you lose at the other. It's like feeding a dog on his own tail. It won't fatten the dog.
