[ale] Fedora install?

I still have my Novell/SuSE SLES 9 admin books.  The instructor where I
took classes advised us avoid using the GUI config tools in SLES,
particularly for HTTPD.  I never understood wanting to use a GUI to
configure Apache in the first place.
