Desktop distribution:
	Philosophically:	Fedora
	Reality: RedHat/CentOS

I really like Debian as a whole, but it's really not been a good
experience for me as whole as a "desktop" distribution. I quote that
since most of my "desktops" are laptops, and getting support for them
is always a fun task.

If I were running more _desktop_ class machines, it might sway to
Debian's favor. Of course, I'm getting into little devices now, so all
this is likely to change...

Reality is that I always have a RedHat or CentOS box within 20 feet of
my common work areas at home or at work.

Preferred desktop/window manager:
	Philosophically:	IceWM
	Reality: screen

I just really don't get much opportunity to interact with linux in a
graphical state much anymore. What I can do on a terminal with screen
and with access to my provided Apple laptops, I really have little need.

Preferred browser:
	Philosophically:	Firefox
	Reality: Chrome & Firefox

Firefox eats a lot of memory, and to get the options I really want out
of a browser, I have to add more add-ons. I still don't get the
environment I want in Chrome either because there isn't even some of
the options I like available at all, but it's smaller footprint,
responsiveness, and such make it a boon to me when I've got most of my
usual pages up. For those pages that break in Chrome (java KVM apps,
Citrix apps, many of my work HR sites), always Firefox.
