Charles,

My last post on this on the main list.

I like you as an associate. But I certainly don't agree with your positions, as you might expect, probably never will.

Yes, these issues are personal, scary sometimes, emotional. Yes there are divided opinions.

Your first paragraph is so full of bull that it's hardly worth my time to reply. In short, you don't know what the heck you're talking about. But, I'll just post a few facts. You see, I've lived through injuries that chiropractors have helped me with, so I know a bit about what they can do.

Then, we should probably drop the topic before we get banned.

I believe it was Ralph Nader that said negligence in conventional medicine killed 300 people per day, about the contents of a jumbo jet per day. There are quacks and incompetents in any field. They are the exception in MD's and they are the exception in well trained and certified chiropractors. My chiropractor is not a quack, or a killer. He's a highly trained professional who has helped me on dozens, if not hundreds, of occasions.

* FACT - Way back when I was a teen, I encountered a whiplash injury in a car accident. But, I didn't know I had any long term damage. 20 years later, my disks between my neck vertebrae had started to degenerate and become squashed to the point that I was having symptoms, including numbness in my hands, etc. Had I done nothing, I would likely have suffered partial or full neck paralysis. Had I had surgery, I probably would have suffered at least partial permanent disability. I spent a year going to the (previous) chiropractor and having her straighten and realign those bones. All the while, my body kept trying to pull them back out into their incorrect (whiplashed) posture. But, over time, at about 2-3 visits per week, the problem was fixed, and now my neck works as it should, with no permanent damage. This was BY FAR the best treatment option available to me.

* FACT - There have been MANY other times that I've been in pain, due to a crooked rib, or neck bone (ie, due to sleeping on my side with a flat pillow), or back bone (ie, due to sitting hunched over in front of some audio equipment while sitting on the floor), etc. In some cases, the pain has been severe enough to hamper my activities, and was not self correcting. The chiropractor has fixed it for me.

* FACT - Blue Cross has acknowledged that most people would benefit from a routine chiropractic bone adjustment every 3 - 4 weeks or so, that it prevents other more severe conditions from occurring which require more expensive treatment, and that they will pay for part of the costs.

* FACT - There is nothing witch doctory about chiropractic done by properly trained professionals.

Regarding cancer, see drday.com for an introduction as to how to cure it naturally without chemo, surgery, or radiation. I have lost SEVERAL relatives and friends to cancer. These experiences were and are very painful. I am TOTALLY convinced that a primary factor in their death was the TREATMENT. IE, pump toxic chemical into your body for years, destroy your organs, and you will die of something. I'm not trying to cause anyone who's dealt with this more pain, I'm trying to save others from pain.

One extended family member died less than a year ago. The chemicals they were using in her body were so toxic, that her grandkids couldn't even use the same bathtub she used. They found out later, when they had to rebuild their septic system, that the same chemicals had killed all life in the septic tank.

Regarding our effect on other cultures, I'm sure some of our medical knowledge has benefitted them. But, it's not a slam dunk. It's highly likely that mercury in vaccines is a strong contributor to autism. My wife knows someone who's teenage son suddenly and immediately developed suicidal tendencies immediately after being vaccinated, and the vaccine was almost certainly the causal factor.

While certain components of our medical system may help other nations, when we export our hard driving, fret all the time, stay sleep deprived, work until you're half dead, eat fast food, and don't exercise lifestyle to them; it has been conclusively shown that their lifespan significantly decreases.

Also, we don't by any means have longevity all figured out. It's not uncommon for people in the mountains of Tibet to live to be 120 years old. It certainly is uncommon here. They don't have much modern medicine. Just a simple, relatively slow, and relatively natural, healthy lifestyle.

By the way, the powers that be that really run our medical system, not the low level doctors, those powers have no interest in healing your ills. That cuts off their cash flow. They'd rather have you addicted to their fancy drugs for the rest of your life.

If we want to discuss this further, we should probably take it private. Although, we probably won't see eye to eye.

Sincerely,

Ron
