Just before I terminated my Comcast ties, I called them to ask why they
go up on my bill every year without any new functionality or service. I
finally got so frustrated I told the person I might as well disconnect
the service. Without missing a beat, the rep asked if I would like to
be transferred to that department. That is, the department to
disconnect my service. Of course now that I'm gone, I get all kinds of
'please come back' inquiries.
