[ale] flip flopping on programming, now interested in c++

Yeah, what Byron said. With some additional thoughts. I want to be a 
programmer and I've programmed in a few scripting languages. My biggest 
difficulty has been staying involved enough to go from small things to 
larger ones.

If you've already been a programmer and are getting back into it, I'd 
recommend a few things to try in addition to Byron's comments.

1. Check out some of the on-line or IRC communities. Find a good fit. 
#python excels at this, ##php is hit or miss.

2. Maybe work through "7 languages in 7 weeks" and see if any of them 
are fun.

3. Once you find a language then work with people to have fun at it, not 
just code.

For language thoughts, my preferences are:
	Computer to People -> PHP
	Computer to Computer -> Python
	Computer to itself -> Go or C

If you're thinking jobs, Java on Android is the up and coming. Crappy 
thought though that is, smart phones and tablets are the future for the 
next decade or so.
