[ale] Ubuntu recommendations

How often do you like to do full system upgrades?

often = latest release
seldom = LTS

I think Ubuntu LTS sticks to particular kernel/glibc/*lib* version for the
lifetime (with backported security and bug patches) like what RedHat does
with RHEL.

That all said, does the version you are tinkering with _run_ on the laptop.
If it was built AFTER the drop-dead date for an LTS release (same for RHEL)
the hardware may not be supported until the next LTS refresh release.

I use fast moving releases on stuff that humans will work on and slow moving
releases on infrastructure systems.
