[ale] Ubuntu 10.10 - SWAP going crazy!

Funny you mentioned Firefox.
I noticed the "plugin-container" also on a resource roller coaster.
Killed both Firefox and plugin-container processes; restarted them. System is 
better but there are still spikes in their processes.
