[ale] [OT] LTSP issue

Very. Strange. Indeed.
I seems like a switch issue but not really.
Plug both servers and all clients into the same switch. Turn off dhcp on
one server and boot clients. Power down that dhcp service and start the
other and reboot clients.
Also verify dhcpd.conf is identical on both servers. Lastly verify which
tftp server each runs and compare the boot files they serve.
The OLD clients likely don't pxe boot but etherboot instead. Different
calls and require different dhcpd.conf mojo.
If all else fails put tftp files from old onto new system and let it serve
old syslinux bits. Clients will get new kernel and toys. New kernel may no
longer have drivers for old nics. Swap kernel and inittd to use old ones.
