Postgis is another shining example of why eventually all surviving code
will be open source!
If Esri didn't pull crap like Apple did and practically give away their
stuff to college uses, they would never gain enough support at government
levels to sell it to those government buyers.
Esri's worst nightmare is full backing of Postgis and tools in RedHat :-)
