Well, maybe for the time being I'm not so gone (at least until after I
make another plug for that interview with Pete Davidson). No matter
which side of the issue of offshore drilling one falls on, it doesn't
hurt to have a fairly clear and conversational grasp of the issues,
and this particular interview gave the best down-to-earth description
I've seen yet. In addition to the pressure he cites the lack of
experience with solid methane hydrate traveling upward in the pipe to
the separators. He also mentioned that Norwegian and Russian drillers
might have much more experience with this than the companies handling
the Deep Horizon rig.

Listen to it. You won't regret it.
