The thrust of their amendment is, like it says: "it seems reasonable
that Members of Congress should have exactly the same medical coverage
that they impose on the rest of us." The disingenuous part is that what
actually should be happening is that the "rest of us" should have health
insurance more like what Congressmen and other Federal employees already
get. Don't get me wrong - FEHPB isn't all heaven and joy, but it's
immeasurably more humane than what most people face.
