[ale] My resume

I've actually been told similarly before by recruiters that it's
better to have a longer resume than try to cut it down to a page. I had
my resume online on my website and when printed out was around 4-5 pages
and when they asked for a .DOC copy I had a 1 page version. They told me
I was selling myself short and asked me to revise and send it back with
more detail. Since then I've not bothered to try and trim for page count
but rather to just keep relevant work experience documented.

This is especially so given that most resumes don't go directly to the hiring manager but rather through recruiters, human resources and possibly the manager's boss(es) before it gets to him (if it ever does).
