And there's more. Last night I figured out how to change channels.
To change to channel 11-2 type in
zir 11-2
There is a bit of delay before it switches so if you enter another channel change before it is finished you will get interesting results.
zir 63-3
zir 17-1
In quick succession this ends up telling the box to switch to channel 317-1. During a channel switch there is some feedback from the box. It may be necessary to parse this to avoid a channel change collisions.
I also checked out the zir functions I had skipped over. I neglected to mention that all the commands are case sensitive.
last (last channel) (the same as pressing the pre button on the remote)
Last (Last Channel) (the same as pressing the pre button on the remote, don't know why they have it in two different cases)
AudioLR (Audio LR) (as far as I can tell it's the same as pressing the audio button on the remote and the same as the Audio zir command)
Fav+ (Fav Up) (appears to do the same as pressing the channel up button on the remote but it bears more investigation)
Fav- (Fav Down) (appears to do the same as pressing the channel down button on the remote but it bears more investigation)
Freeze (Freeze) (Freezes the picture. Issuing the command again un-freezes the picture. There is not equivalent button on the remote)
I also found out that the Tivax STB-T8 and STB-T9 are based on a Zoran SupraHD 740. I haven't found any data on it yet but I did find the OEM's web site.
