Yeah, linux is amazing isn't it? I have a linux box in my basement that 
serves as a front end to our DSL service. It runs a caching DNS server, 
dhcp, samba, etc. I do automatic backups of anything stored on the network 
drive. Its all very nice. Anyway, one time I logged in and was kind of 
surprised to see that the machine had been up for over 400 days. It was just 
sitting there in the basement serving the household needs for over a year 
without me even giving it a thought.

It's a beautiful thing.
