What I do is download a daily image 2 or 3 days before the release, then 
on release day I use bittorrent to update the file with any changes. 
Bittorrent interprets my old download as a corrupt/incomplete download 
and fetches only the chunks that changed. It's a job more typically 
given to rsync, but of course those servers are slammed on release day. 
I know I should be able to do this with jigdo too, but I've never gotten 
it to work right.
