RISC = Reduced Instruction Set Chip (e.g. PowerPC, IBM's RISC-6000,
Sun's Spark and HP's PA-RISC) as opposed to x86 (CISC).
Sadly I've actually worked on an Amstrad PC that a buddy of mine had.
He was running Prodigy as his ISP back before they were calling them
ISPs or letting you know that's all they really were.
Mosaic anyone?

I got a lot of the visual references but I guess my beard is not gray
enough to "get" Amstrad or RISC.
I did get SGi (caps noted) immediately because the guitar there is a
Gibson SG.
