I've been doing it manually on the client-side (e.g., with Evolution).
But not much gets past my server-side Spam filters, so I don't use it
that much.

One thing that I have noticed, is lots of messages in ~/.xsession-errors
regarding something called bogofilter missing.  You might want to check
to see if you have anything showing up in ~/.xsession-errors that might
pinpoint the problem.
