[ale] DBI::DBD for TCL ?

Does  anybody have experience/knowledege using TCL to talk to a RDBMS
(Sybase or Oracle) ?  Is there abstracted interface like DBI::DBD for PERL
available for TCL ?

I am evaluating a F5 BigIP load balancer and will like to use iRules
(tcl-based) to talk to a back-end database for configuration information.
