[ale] OT: Charter Phone vs. BellSouth

I don't know about charter up there, but I flat out refuse to use them
for my phone down here in Stockbridge. When my cable modem works, it
works well. About every 2-3 months it fails. When it fails I want to
go find executives and strangle them.

If you want an idea of how their cable service is, try and call in and
report a problem: 800-955-7766. Tell me how much you love their phone
tree. If you want I can give you the direct numbers for some of the Sr
Customer Service staff for when you need it. Just don't mention knowing
me, one of my first conversations with them I recommended burning their
support organization down to the ground and replacing everyone in it.
Then again that did get me some of these phone numbers and a call from
the VP of Customer Care.
