[ale] Printing to non-standard papersizes

I do this, but if go into that dialog again, it has not remembered the 
settings (unless they correspond to the system-wide default settings :))

And what if my paper size is not listed here?  I selected User and gave 
explicit dimensions.  The GUI seems to reflect this properly, but no luck 
when I print.

We all want Linux to work and be easy to use, I think.  IMO, it's worth noting 
when "the competition" does something better.
