Yes! They are whispering "Damn! Laptop hard drives sure are SLOW to be
stuck with on updates!".
It really is the hard drive bogging it down. There does seem to be a lot
hard drive work doing the upgrades on the FC (and RH and Centos) stuff.
I'm sure, updating a lib that is in use is loads of fun...
