Not sure if this is what your asking, but it seems you want a filter to
immediately archive a message without putting it in the inbox. If so,
just create a new filter and in the "Next Step" tell it to skip the
inbox. I have several filters that apply a label and immediately archive
the message.

Just slightly of topic
Has anyone had success with g-mail filtering directly to
archive?
I can "star" specific items witht the filter, but not move them
directly to archive.

Has anyone noticed that gmail seems to be losing e-mail?
I thought I had seen it before, and just now I was
looking for an
e-mail I sent this afternoon.
I could not find it in my sent folder nor by doing a
search.
By chance I cc'ed my real office e-mail address so I
know I sent it.
I'm losing faith in gmail.
