[ale] difference among Seagate, WesternDigital & Maxtor ?

Ditto on the Seagates. They also are likely to come with longer warranties
(usually 5 yr) compared to the others (particularly WD/Maxtor) who only give
you 1 yr.

Everywhere I have put a Seagate drive, I have been happy. Sure, they cost a
little more up front, but well worth it when facing multiple downtimes to
replace the others.
