[ale] MIDI (and music in general) on Linux

Joe -
I would say, don't. I'm hardcore Linux, but the day I decide that I'm
going to be doing serious video, digital audio, MIDI, or digital image
work a preponderance of the time is the day I go out and buy a Mac.
