[ale] Debian 3.0 as a server platform?

How much control do you have over the configuration?  It's possible to
import only cerntain packages from advanced distrobutions
(debian-testing).  My company runs about 750 Production servers on
Debian 3.0.  It's been rock solid for us, I wouldn't change it.
