[ale] debian acpi module errors, framebuffer

Hi Jay,

Try disabling acpi in your kernel boot process.  To test this just add
acpi=off on the end of your lilo or grub boot sequence.  In grub, just
highlight the boot line and press 'e' to edit or 'p' to enter a password
if you set grub up with one.
