[ale] permissions

Thanks, that fixed that problem, now the next one is that It says I'm
missing jpeglib.h and Jerror.h. Is this another package I failed to
install and if it is how do I know what package it is contained in? I
tried searching in the package stuff with Yast but didn't find anything.

The owner is "root", and that's the way you want it.  You need to "su" 
and type the root password before you "make install"...
