I use Speedfactory and am very pleased with their service. The company
is local to Atlanta and the people are knowledgeable and friendly. If
you have their home service they don't care about what services you are
running (http, ftp, whatever) as long as the services are not commercial
or illegal.

When I was making my decision I called Speakeasy first and they claimed
I did not qualify for DSL. I then called Speedfactory and they told me
otherwise. It seems that as long as you are able to get BellSouth phone
service you are able to get Speedfactory DSL because every number I
check works.

I used to be interested in Windows NT, but the more I see of it the more it looks like traditional Windows with a stabler kernel. I don't find anything technically interesting there. In my opinion MS is a lot better at making money than it is at making good operating systems. -- Linus Torvalds
